This is Mr. Pickles and Sophia. Mr. Pickles is a hairless Egyptian Sphinx. Just shy of a year ago when the young lady we got him from showed up at a house to buy a kitten, she found Mr. Pickles, his litter mates, and his parents in horrible living conditions and health. It seems the elderly woman who owned the breeder business was trying to get out of it and was in over her head. The young lady bought the whole litter and the parents, took them home and nursed them back to health, eventually finding all of them new homes. Mr. Pickles was the last, as he was apparently in the wost health shape initially.

Sophia is about 2 years old and is an Italian Greyhound. She was rescued at a puppy mill auction. We adopted her from a puppy mill rescue.

These two have taken up together like carrots and peas. The Italian Greyhound is quite "cat-like" in their demeanor. Sophia likes attention on her terms... And Mr. Pickles, I believe, thinks he's a dog! :D

That 3rd shot should be in a publication.

You gotta love animals.
