How do you keep the EXIF info when you take a TIFF and "save for web" in Photoshop CS2? This is what I do, convert my RAW file to a TIFF in DPP. Do what I need to do with the TIFF in Photoshop. Then I "save for web" and the EXIF info is gone. How do I keep the EXIF info with the image? What am I doing wrong?

BTW When I convert a RAW file to a JPEG in DPP and mess with it in Photoshop I can still see the EXIF info.

Thanks for the help guys!

IIRC, it's been a while since I've used CS2, that's the way it works and no way to change it. When you use the "save for web" it will strip the exif. CS5 will let you choose whether to include it and gives a couple of options as to what is included in the exif.

Just do a normal Save As. You don't need to use Save for Web.

Use "save as" and choose jpeg.

Jpeg isn't an option when I try "save as".

Check the title bar of your image. If it doesn't say "(RGB/8)", that's probably the reason.

Flatten all layers to a single layer.
Make sure the color space is 8-bit and RGB.
