I just picked up a used s90 and very disappointed in the quality. I am actually considering selling it for an s95 now. But, I don't want something that is just a little bit better. I'd rather buy something video specific.

A still camera with add on video isn't video specific..

For the record, the S90 is in very select company at the top of the P&S pantheon. Even now, superseded, I think it's still in the top five or six. My daughter has one, and it certainly holds its own against my G10. ~ Wallace

There's no point and shoot digital camera with a larger than average sensor, which also offers 1080p video. You can settle for Sony's WX10, or go with a video camera instead. -eyalg Edited for accuracy. My 5D2 and 7D both do 1080p. I think we can safely call the 24x36 mm sensor of the 5D2 "larger than average". Jon

Actual video quality seems pretty decent. I'd link to some family video clips I've taken, but your screen name is too creepy (even if referencing pixels)

In my opinion, saying that the "S95 video is only a bit superior to S90" is like saying that a Chevy Suburban is only a little bit bigger than a Honda Civic.
