I like all of them Spike but number 3 the most. You might consider removing the bird since it's so small and doesn't contribute to the final image.

I think the vibrance could be increased just a tad also.

Those are nice, don't mind the bird. It gives something to look at and it was there at that moment in time. Maybe brighten up the first 2 a little, up to you.

Beautiful Spike! Love the first two. Great composition and processing on all of them.

Thanks for comments.
navydoc....please feel free to post the image you did with added vibrance....I think it is great.
I originally deleted the bird then added it back in for more image/scene integrity...plus my GF told me to.
If anyone is wondering about the odd edges on the grass it is heavy fog or dew...most dense I have ever seen.
More to come later.

Thanks Spike. This is an edit I did to show how increasing vibrance would not only bring out the greens, but the colors of the flowers and rocks too.

I'm sure the bird in the full sized image would make sense...I just thought for the smaller web sized image, the bird was too indistinct.

I did a couple of additional adjustments to the image too.

The third is super.
Great trail leading into picture.
Great contrasts between rocks, flowers and grey sky.

Awesome pics!!

I am from Newfoundland, however because of a lack of work and $$ unfortunatly me and my family had to move several years ago. It's also it's always nice to see pics of back home. What part of the island were these pics taken. Looks as if they may possibly be on the Avalon somewhere.

Would love to see more pics of your trip...do you have them in an online album?

Newfoundland is a beautiful island with loads of photo oppertunities, I can't wait to get back there with my camera someday. I home you had a nice trip!

Thanks tmc.....exactly what caught my eye. Unlike the others, this is of course a 1 RAW HDRI in an attempt to bring out the rock and dew details....and I like Gene's processing effect.

Hi hb96tuner ....thanks, we had a great time in spite of the weather!!
Yes we know all about the work situation there....bet you know someone in Fort Mac, Alta :)
I have posted another set - both sets were all on the west side....most at or near Quirpon. Believe it or not, none at Gros Morne due to bad weather/skies.

Yeh, the weather has been real crappy down that way lately. And yes, I do know a few in Fort Crack...over half my graduating highschool class are living there.
It's good to see some pics other than the Gros Morne...although it's an awesome place, it's been done way to many times already.
