Micro SD Or SDHC?

My wife bought a 720HD compact video camera that takes micro SD cards. She wants to buy a card with more memory (8GB). Should she get a micro SD or a micro SDHC?

The HC stands for high capacity. In theory, an 8gb SDHC will be better optimized for larger files, but realistically it's not going to be any different. You would only find 16 or 32gb cards in SDHC.

Nope, not a Flip, It is a Kodak. I was concerned whether video quality would suffer with a micro SD versus a SDHC and by your statement, I guess it doesn't matter which type I use. Thanks for your reply.

the read/write speed of the card is the important number, but the -HC (or -XC) suffix has no relation to the speed.
