I've notice this a while ago, and I'm wondering is this "normal"?

You can see them in the upper left corner, and some in the lower left. I guess thats the sensors fault, so there's nothing really I can do, right? Should i be worried of getting more of them? The shutter count is about 11000 clicks . . .

Unfortunately it happens, you will find that it will only be seen when you photograph a dark object – but once you know it is there, you will be looking for it. I believe that dead pixels are actually quite common, you could get the camera in for a service and I believe Canon can map them and stop them showing, but not sure how much they would charge. The other option is to live with it. My first G11 had a dead pixel when bought new; I returned it for replacement without problem. 2 years down the road, I have a couple of hot (red) and dead (white) pixels on my G11 but they rarely can be seen and are very simple to clone out…

I'm just worried that I don't get more of them. And I guess you're right about cloning them out, but i did a time-lapse (external link) (you can see the dead pixel on 720p and full screen) and the pixel is very noticeable. I didn't have the time to edit them, and it isn't any special work, just a test time-lapse, but still . . .
