Yeah I read some complaints about that; if you figure out a way let us all know! :)

Tell me how you like it. I have the wescott 28 and it is a tad cumbersome. I like using my pw flex unit and adjust manual flash remotely with AC3.

Tilting the box is kinda goofy with the zipper slots on the bottom limiting tilting range.

I do like the size your getting though.

Maybe I can call Adorama & ask if either of these will work. Thanks for posting them!

Ok my Apollo softbox got here yesterday evening, & hubby put it together this morning-- you mean this thing doesn't come with a stand? For real? Can someone point me to a source that shows how to attach it to a stand?

Oh and Adorama responded to my inquiry about using one of the suggested tools with it that "either should work" so I orderd the Paul Buff mini arm thing....

I bought this (external link) Manfrotto convertible boom stand from B&H last year.

Its not bad for for light weight work.

You attach a softbox to your light, not the stand. It's supposed to attach to a strobes modifier attachment.

Not this particular softbox. It uses a swivel bracket and mounts like an umbrella.
