Nikon to Canon Lens Adapter

Anyone have any feedback about the Nikon to Canon lens adapter for Canon bodies? I've got a 7d and a bunch of prime/L lenses and most of my friends are Nikon users and they rave about how much better their lenses are. Anyone have a converter? If so are you happy with the mix of Canon body/Nikon lens. If so which adapter to you use.
Thanks!

I use both the Canon 350D & 550D bodies with Canon, Nikon, Yashica Contax, and M42 mount lenses.
My best Nikon to EOS adapter is from Fotodiox in Waukegan, Illinois. This adapter will also handle Nikon G category lenses and has the focus confirm chip which puts me "in the ballpark".

I am curious about the same thing. I found an 58mm 1.2 Nikon lens at a great price, and would consider buying it if I knew the adapter was good, and was a decent price.

I purchased one cheap ebay adapter (without the chip to confirm focus) just to try it out with my old manual focus Nikkors. It works great, but I needed 3 hands to remove the lens with adapter, change the adapter to another lens and place the new lens on the body while kneeing down in the field.
I purchased 3 more adapters and 4 canon rear lens caps and I leave an adapter on each of my Nikkor lenses.

I had 4 Nikkor MF lenses..and each lens got its own Fotodiox Nikon to EOS adapter since it's PIA to remove it.

It works ok and Nikon lens works well on Canon.

E series Nikon lens wasn't very sharp though. I've gotten Nikkor lens out of my system and sold them all except for 55mm F3.5 Micro lens.

Nikon AF lenses? No way to set aperture! ;)

I use manual-focus Nikon lenses on 5Dc with inexpensive (US$10) NI-EOS adapter. All my Nikon lenses are non-AI. The aperture ring on some AI'd lenses jams on the adapter -- the NI-EOS adapter for AI lenses is more expensive.

Sounds like a lot of work being that I have to purchase the adapter and grow a 3rd arm to change lenses in the field. I might take a ride over to Berger Bros on Long Island and see if they have any I can try out

Though I do admit that there are quite a few Nikon lenses that are superior to similar Canon lenses but when it comes to L primes. Are there actually any Nikons pro primes that are better than the Ls?
