Ranger RX AS + Skyports - issues with the system not working properly)

First time posting, but long time reading. Love the community and advice I've found, followed and loved.

My issue is with my Ranger RX + Skyport RX combination - which after 6 months has simply stopped triggering the flash unless I apply a certain amount of slight pressure, in the right spot (which of course makes the system useless to me ). Curiously, the remote system still has the capacity to alter the power output of the flash, which suggests that the trigger and receiver are communicating, but cannot trigger the flash without hand-holding.

Has anyone had any similar issue and know of a fix?

Follow-up - by "apply pressure" I mean on the RX Reciever and adapter that connects to the RX battery pack.

Its a TX issue, if its only 6months old why not send it back for a new one or to repair ?

Sounds like the contacts aren't quite making it, maybe something displaced in a shock or just a slightly defective production unit not quite up to the bar.

Thanks Case - I spoke to the Australian supplier and they're suggestion was similar - that it was a fault in the adapter between the receiver and the pack. They're sending a new one, but I was keen to see if anyone had had any similar issues and whether there was any other possible insidious causes - i.e. just as much as it might bee a problem with the pins in the adapter, I was concerned it might be a fault in the connectors on the pack...

Time to buy some backup gear!
