lavanut Goldmember More info | Great shots, Scott! It looks like you were able to get fairly close and have good access to the launch area before & during the launch. Did you have connections? What lens did you use for the launch, 500mm? I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

The wide view of the launch was with a 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II set at 70mm and the close shots were with a 400 f/5.6 L with a 1.4x extender for a total focal length of 560mm. Scott

Nothing great but best that I had. also in titusville, 70-300 in my 50d. wish i was a little bit closer. anyone in cocoa beach Gear list: 7d, 50d, xti, EOS 66 film, Canon FTB,sigma 18-35 1.8 art len, EF 24-105L, 70-200f4.
