That is interesting eye products you have there... Would you have a photo without the eye circle lens to share? I am curious.

I might have a few, but not on flickr. Maybe I'll post some later if I can find them.

Lol, yes I will echo the comments, her eyes are HUGE. I saw those lenses on a tutorial by a MUA called Michelle Phan (ricebunny). Very interesting. Nice photos too. I think I like 2 and 3 the best.

Thanks.

Oh, funny that you mention this. My GF is always watching videos and stuff from Michelle Phan. :)

You know doctors discourage the use of "cosmetic" contact lenses that are not correcting vision. Just what the world needs, an accessory to make girls look like young cartoon girls.

Doctors discourage alot of things. Sunlight, red meat, butter (unless margarine is the thing to hate).

Anywho, it boils down to one simple thing - if you're an idiot, and don't keep the lenses properly maintained, you can hurt yourself. Which applies to virtually anything, imho.

The thing is, those that use them for cosmetic purposes are much more likely to not take care with them since they are just "make up" to them and not vital to seeing well.

So.... putting things in your eyes without taking care of them properly is a risk? Right. Stupid people do stupid things.

I seem to remember sterilizing my mouth guard on the regular, and that wasn't prescription. I was also 12.

Now back to Ricku's great pics.

Oh. That must be because of her doll eye circle lenses. A superpopular beauty acessory here in east and south east Asia. All modern teens use these, and it makes their eyes look like "japanese anime / manga eyes". I am not from here but I think it looks very cute. :)

Sold everywhere and avalible in many different colors, sizes and patterns. See example below.

Ha! When I looked at your last couple pics I thought, "she has doll eyes." I guess that's what she was going for! Pretty cool.

Nice series Ricku. Not sure what to think about the eyes, they may actually look better natural.

I know what you mean. Some people likes this look, and some people don't. :) I do like it.

Looking like an animated "manga-girl" is the hottest thing here in SE-Asia right now. They even got TV ads and subway posters for these products.

When it comes to handling the lenses, she knows how to do it. She always buy trop brands from a professional licensed optician. I've personally made sure of it!

Cheers.
