Canon Rebel XS issue

Hi, I'm new here and I recently I bought a Canon Rebel XS. Today after a few shots i saw a spot on some photos, exactly on the blue sky or a brighter area on the photo at a small f number, for exemple f/10. :rolleyes: The lens are clean and I think the sensor hase something, I dont know if is dust or anything..
Pleas help me! :confused:

It looks like there is dust on your sensor. You can try using a flashlight to see if there is dust on your sensor, and if there is use a rocket blower to clean the sensor.

Ok. Should I use Mirror look-up feature fot cleaning ?
I'm sorry for this stupid question but I'm new to DSLR and I dont know what should I do. :(

I don't have your camera. Read the manual to find out how to clean the sensor.

The XS has a self-cleaning mechanism. Turn it on and off a couple times and see if that dislodges the dust.


....the best camera is the one you have on you at the time.
