Just curious, do you have a string that attaches your lens cap to your camera? Or do you take it out put it on your pocket/back while shooting?
Thanks

And if you use a lens hood (as you should) you can remove the lens cap and keep it of while you are doing things other than shooting. My personal stuff:http://www.flickr.com/photos/jngirbach/sets/

Or do you take it out put it on your pocket/back while shooting? I think that many of us recall our mother tying our mittens to a string that went through the sleeves of our jackets. We were often embarrassed by that then and I'd be equally embarrassed by having my lens caps dangling from the camera or lens. Besides, they would get in the way often if they were dangling on a string. Skip Douglas
