Curious why? I always hear how great the 35 is. Looks like you have APS-C and FF so why not just use the 35 on the 7D?

Oh yeah, the 35 is great, but I use my 50 1.8 much more doing weddings, and hubby has a 24-70 anyhow so...and I don't like using his 7d

5D II + 50L > 7D + 35L ;)

But honestly, while I do sometimes use my 35L on my 7D and like it, the 5D and 50L combo is much better IMO. Better IQ, better DOF control and you can put EG-S screens in the 5D, which makes it much easier for me to see whether I have focus.

It ends quickly and easily. All you need to do is give up POTN.

BTW, 50L works fine on the 7D too. I expect your husband and his not-up-to-par 7D will be grabbing for the 50L soon.

I think crack would be easier to kick!

Not so sure hubby will try jacking my new 50 or not -- he hates the 50 1.8.

FF + 50L is something special.

The 50L is my most used lens. It's on my camera about 90% of the time.
