i own a house in key colony beach. and there is a golf coarse accross from my home where they used to nest. but four or five years ago a hurricane flood wiped them out and ive been looking for them ever since. my brother was down there talking to one of the locals and they told him the owls had returned but a few streets over. there nest is right next to the bike path so there is alot of human traffic. therefore i was able to get fairly close to them. and thanks all for the nice comments.

That's a coincidence. For many years my brothers owned several duplexes on 124th st. in Marathon, Fla (around the 53 mile marker). That's a great area your in!
