Looks good to me. I would have tried moving to a position (if possible) to get less of the hanging branches on the left so that the boardwalk is a bit more prominent.

What's the dark areas I see in top left and top right?

I added vignetting in Lightroom, my copy of the 15-85 tends to vignette a bit at 15mm so I think it's exagerating the effect. I tried to frame it better, but I was literally in the swamp when I took the shot, don't think I've seen snakes that big swimming around in a loong time. Thanks for the critique.

OK. So vignetting was intended. Understood.

Did you say you were in a swamp with snakes? Would you try that in the Everglades?

I wouldn't even try it in the same location again, I took off my shoes and stepped about 2 feet in. I was firing away and didn't notice the snakes at first. If I had seen them, I would've never taken the 1st shot, I guess the saying that god looks out for babies and fools is pretty accurate..ha!

I have CS5 so I'm wondering if I can get rid of the branches with content aware fill, I will admit I'm not very good with it....

I think this would be better without the vignetting.

I like it, very impressive indeed. Shows what my 15-85mm is capable of... if only I knew how :)

Looking at the exif data, I see I took the shot at f3.5 1/4000. I probably should have shot it at f5.6 or smaller for a little better dof.
