Hey guys,
Recently I picked up a refurb Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II, at a crazy low price, and I swear they must have sent me a new one. The glass and body are flawless, the contacts have never been mounted and it has that new lens smell. Lol! Not sure but reading the spec testing sheet that came with it, it all checked out fine, but there were no notes in any of the fields about initial problem or suspected issues. Maybe a damage box or overstock?
Anyway, I've been toying with this lens and it is AMAZING! The lens has a solid feel, the bokeh is soooooo buttery smooth, the optics are crazy sharp, but the thing that impresses me the most is the color reproduction! This lens is crazy at capturing color! I was out today taking some pics of some pretty vivd flowers and when viewing them on the comp, the colors are spot on. No post processing needed. Saturation is nice, the contrast is nice, this lens rocks!!
I'll post some samples up in a lil.
What other lenses have you guys experienced this joy with?
