A couple new photos of the kids

Had some time this past week to get some updated photos of most of the kids. We have one that stays out of the reach of the lens.

I really like these. Great sharp focus on the eyes - good stuff.

Only minor comment would be that maybe I would like to see the background a little further away to blur it slightly to separate the subject more but it's only a minor thing.

What lens did you use? It's nice and sharp.

Thanks! These were with a Sigma 30mm 1.4 at about f5.6 It's a very sharp copy.

I agree on the bg distance. I basically set them on the bed and dropped a blanket on a boom arm to have something other than the wall behind them. It worked well, and I'll use this simple setup again. I could have dropped the strobe power and used a larger aperture to get more separation (I did that on the last photo)...these were just quick shots.
