Yes it is a replica of the Mew Gull that holds the record for London to Cape Town Return, set in 1936 and still current. A history of this exhibit is here. I'll get round to processing a picture of it, although I'll probably give it it's own thread as it isn't Full Frontal.

If you're ever up my way you can go see the real one at Breighton Aerodrome, it's part of the "Real Aeroplane Company" collection and they still take it out and fly it on occasion.
