argyle Cream of the Crop 8,187 posts Likes: 24 Joined Apr 2007 Location: DFW, Texas More info | I think the window frame shot would have worked better if shot from a more head-on angle, and by not cropping off the lower row of windows (maybe this wasn't possible at the time, who knows)...this would have given it more symmetry. As it is, the corner of the building, as well as the drain pipe (?) create two additional borders that aren't really necessary IMO. Jul 11, 2011 08:04 | #5 Thanks for the above comments. The 1st image was taken from my hotel room in Florence so this was the best angle I could get at the time. I like the sharp yet dreamy effect of the overall image as well as the contrast of the blue shutters & yellow exterior. Doug Sturgess
