I have been quite busy lately, and have only been taking pictures of our new baby. But this past weekend I got to go back out to one of my new favorite places in Georgia. Cloudland Canyon State Park. There was not much water, and it has 90 degrees and 99% humidity...but we had fun, and I wanted to share the few takeaways I had, and maybe gets some crits. TIA.

#1: Sunrise on the drive up.

#2: Cherokee Falls...took this one, and then one of my tripod legs fell off! :( Normally this side of the falls is inaccessible, but the water level was so low, I just walked across what is usually a running river.

#3: No name falls, usually the bowl at the bottom is under water, all the way to the big rock on the right.

#4: More no name falls.

Thanks for looking, and for any comments or crits.

Love the shots here. The area being dry is great for photography, but may lead to a very dry summer and all the water problems that go with it.

Thanks.
The dryness is typical down here, it gets so dang hot with no rain...we had rain a good bit last week, I expected more water in the Creek that feeds the falls, I guess it must have been really dry before last week.

Beautiful.

Thanks. Cloudland is one of my new favorite places in the state. I am sure I will go back later in the year to see what it looks like in the fall.

They're all great, but I especially like the last one.

Thanks Paul, glad you like them, thanks for taking the time. The last was originally wider, but I lost all detail in the shadowed area under the rock outcropping on the right.
