Canon DSLR Speed Challenge # 200- "Carved of wood."

This challenge will be about something carved of wood. Could be just about anything so let your imagination run wild & have fun in your search!


Standard Rules apply:
Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Canon DSLR Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & lens used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Have questions, PM me.
8. Have FUN!

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends - 9:00 p.m. Mountain Time Sunday July 17th, 2011.
Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

This one was hard for me to pick for sure, as all the entries we good & thank you all for entering. Here is how I placed the winners.
1st place to T3HeavyShop with the "They are for tobacco damnit".

Congrats to Blair and Phil for their spots this week and thanks for my nod :) Hard choices... I loved Jim's cello head and Alan's Pirate heads. Jason, I almost entered my carved giraffe as well and am glad I changed my mind. :)

Thanks! Makes me feel like I may be getting the hang of this photography thing :) . Some really nice stuff this time. Jim I can almost feel the age in that cello, and I want to go to Key West and get some of those pirate heads.

New challenge is up. #201- The Law.
