The iO Dock is the first device that enables anyone with an iPad or iPad 2 to create, produce, and perform music with virtually any pro audio gear or instruments. The iO Dock is a universal docking station specifically designed for the iPad and iPad 2, and it gives musicians, recording engineers, and music producers the connectivity they need to create and perform with iPad. Connect all your pro audio gear to virtually any app in the App Store with the iO Dock.

Is it released yet? Been waiting to check it out, release got delayed a month ago or so. It's got midi in/out, two mic jacks w/phantom, and a 1/4" headphone jack iirc. Very cool.

No actually I got an e-mail from BSW about and thought it might be something the guys around here might find useful, I do realize this is a video forum, but video without audio is well, boring.

But I do thank you for being such on-the-top forum cop...

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

BSW is stocking it.

I would post another link but don't want to get the cuffs slapped on. ;-)a

lol. Don't own an ipad but I could see this being a very useful tool (the ipad has a ton of useful apps, hell my pod touch is loaded with apps i use every day to speed production). GarageBand on ipad is supposedly pretty slick, too, with multitrack recording and all.

That actually looks pretty awesome to me. Makes me wish I had two ipads. One for that, and one for the Akai Sythstation 49

I was on a shoot two weeks ago where they used an iPad to slate and it was pretty awesome. Now it can do this too? Makes me want one even more =p

Yea theres a TON of things one can do with an iPad! Most of them are gimicky, but theres SO MANY gimicky ones that I want it! I have just never been able to justify the $500+ price tag when there are soo many other things I can use so much more that arent gimicky for the money.
