Now I understand. I will state the obvious... use higher shutter speeds and/or work on your technique.

the 100-400 actually is a good fit for the 1d series, it balances quite well from my usage, it doesn't feel akward. Nikon D850 l Nikon 28 1.4E l Nikon 50 1.8 g l Nikon 24-120 F4 l Tamron 100-400 l

The 135L is such an awesome lens I hate to even think about getting rid of it. Good luck with that Sigma, I hope you don't get one of the 3 I returned.

After thinking about it a little more I decided to go with the canon 1.8, it is less than half the cost of the sigma and can sell it for a minimal loss probably less than rental fees if I don't like it. One question I have is about background blur and dof, I know going from 1.2 to 1.8 is a big step, but since that one is not in my budget what is the difference from 1.4 to 1.8 ie.. canon to the sigma. Any real noticable difference. I know about ss difference as far lower light capabilties, just wanting to know those two items. Thanks Nikon D850 l Nikon 28 1.4E l Nikon 50 1.8 g l Nikon 24-120 F4 l Tamron 100-400 l
