Ok im planing on getting the Gitzo 2541 and a markins Q10 and what im trying to figure out will the RRS L bracket fit right into the ball head or is there a another adapter i have for that to work?

But it is an Arca style clamp. Some are screw clamp some are lever release clamps. Darrell

Jul 13, 2011 09:40 | #8 ahh found my answer Adjustable Clamping Distance (Patented): The clamping distance is user-adjustable by turning the adjustment screw for plates larger than Markins standard such as Kirk or RRS. so yes it will work. Thanks

tvphotog Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 13, 2011 10:30 | #10 As long as your L bracket and other plates are all from RRS, you can adjust the lever Markins release to one of them and they all then will fit perfectly. If you get a screw release, you can use plates from different manufacturers. Jay
