Good Luck I had two duff 85mm, and my third is great at MFD but slightly out from distances over 20feet - I'm contemplating sending it off for a fix.

I tried two 50mm both were horrible and could not be micro-adjusted, just for the record the Canon 50mm on my 5d2 focuses quicker. I still hanker for that 50mm Sigma as the colours and bokeh are lovely, at least I have the 85mm.

My Sigmas have been good to me: out of 4 lenses, one (30/1.4) had to go back due to front focus. The 8-16, 85 and 120-300 OS have been flawless out of the box. I also have the EF 500 DG SUPER flash, which had to be sent in for a firmware upgrade to work with the 60D, but only had to pay for the shipping. All in all, I'm a very happy Sigma owner.

I had a bad 30 that I sent in for calibration and is now awesome. I purchased and returned an ill-focusing 85, and got back one that was spot on!

The motor on my first 85 was also noisy so look out for that.

I think my +85 is spot on. I will try it again when I get home. I took my lenses to work with me yesterday and today
