Turtle? What Turtle. Gosh, was this guy ever covered with Duckweed. I have read that Duckweed is the smallest flowering plant, it was everywhere today.

Even though I was a good 40 feet away, it looked like he was getting ready to bolt into the water. The leg almost looked too big for his (her?) size. I actually did not see the leg until I got home, due to the camo, I guess.

Really nice image! Turtles usually see me coming from hundreds of feet away and all I have left to photograph are ripples on the pond. I agree, does look like turtle tai chi or something.
