Part 3,

Pete was nice enough to give me a call, and I joined him and Scott for a spot of night shooting.
Im discovering more and more how limited I have become by my Camera, but also how much more I have to focus on other things like composition.

Anyway, some photos:

Only 3 frames wide, but its photomerged in CS2 from 5 shots.

Nice shot, and a nice stitch. :)

Good to see you're useful as a rock. Nice freezing. I'll remember that on our next adventure. ;)

That first shot is brilliant, the tones are great and there's lots of mood. You almost look homeless sitting there on that old bench.

It'd do well in competitions too ;)

Won't be as obvious as other entries in that portrait contest. ;)
Unless everyone does check this thread out.

I'm still trying to figure out the Auckland landscape shot in there.

Nice shots Moppie....how did you get your model to pose like that?

I'm still trying to figure out the Auckland landscape shot in there.

It is looking out towards Waiheke Island from Musick Point.

Thank you all for the nice comments.

The Pana is actualy the view from the bench, as I sat there waiting for the camera to go click I thought how much I need to capture it.

Thats quite the complement, I should have another look at the compititions.

Why thank you Marie :)

I had a quick play with making a B&W, but its not something I have ever put much time into before:

it's very nice like that too

The first shot is very good, the muted colours and the texture of the image are great.
