Hi Guy,

Will be traveling to Seoul this month end with my agent , dont have much of gear just the 350D, 50mm , Tamron 15-50VC .

I bought the ticket last year w/o knowing it might be a monsoon period in Korea with heavy rain around as well.

Is there any nice place to look at for photo gear stuff comparable with price in Malaysia/SIngapore ?

You are right now a days very heavy rain and humid. Regarding gear you can go to Nandemun, but I think is more expensive than Singapore, if interested in this shops you can buy second hand gear, but I can not tell you the condition and warranties, I bought a Lowepro backpack and it was cheaper than US.

With a little of luck you will find very nice weather, there are so many places you can visit. Have a nice stain Seoul. Bye bye.

What about Yongsan Market? I've been there a few times before and bought some stuff. If you're the first person of the day, they'll usually give a discount as good luck for themselves. Check prices of what you want before shopping so you'll know if you're being ripped off.

My Korean friend told me not to thrust the electronic market, is not uncommon to find fake stuff. I rather visit Nandemun if no other option, but If mghong can visit Singapore that is a better option.
