in a quick last minute hurry i bought a set of these. i am quite disappointed in it as i find anything above 125 shutter speed i get black bars on my pictures. i assume thats a sync problem. i thought they would at least get to 1/250 sec. even at 1/125 sec i find that i have to up the strobes power by around 25% in order to equal my exposure when using the light slave. i have also noticed that i can see some of the flash through my view finder which is something i never saw before.
are these things trash? or am i doing something wrong? i am going to use them in a wedding on sunday. gonna point the strobes up for ceiling bounce and need the wireless triggers to stop other peoples flashes from triggering my strobes.
**edit** i just tested using flash near my strobe and it still triggers even when the sync socket is plugged in and switched on?? ok so how do i stop this from triggering by flash? i covered the sensor with black tape and it helps but if a flash is strong enough and near enough it still triggers. arrgg. i guess this is ll hppening because i am using chinese made equipment
