I like the comp, B&W and DoF. My only nit is that it could be a bit brighter and possibly tone down the highlight on the ornament's wing.

The first is better for contrast, for me, the ornament is too far down the frame?

In the first one you can see halos around the shadow of the ornament. The second is better on the halo part. Nice shot, I like #2 better as to it seems to show a little more detail of the ornament.
