worth getting new cf card for 1d burst?

hi all,
i just got my 1d today! (bought from here)
and i got her a scandisk ultra2 15mb/s 4gb CF card.

i noticed the writing speed after buffer is full is very slow (compare to my 550d) in burst mode.

will the write speed faster on 40mb/s or 50mb/s card?

Yes. Do yourself a favor and get at least a 400x CF card.

Ouch. I have one of the Ultra II CF cards and it's just awful. Definitely upgrade that card, the SanDisk Extreme cards are really good.
