West Burton Falls, my favourite Yorkshire Waterfall, which I've shot many times, but never with a 10 stop ND filter.

Taken over two days (hence the different water flow)

All with Canon 1Ds MKIII, 17-40 F4L lens

Beautiful shots, the first and second are my favorites. The viscosity in #2 is stunning. Really like the scooter too!

I was shooting/scouting out West Burton Falls last Sunday for places to shoot in the coming Autumn. Its a fantastic waterfall which is great to shoot with long exposures. Its a really nice little village too.

Just had a quick look through your website mate and theres some nice shots!

Your site is pretty tidy also, some grand images in there, I notice most of your landscapes are in the North West, and your seascapes are in the North East, not sure if that implies that the North east is crap for landscapes, and the North West is crap for seascapes

I notice a Hartlepool image in your Gallery, if you are ever that way again, Paddy's Hole (South Gare) and Saltburn (for the underlit pier) are just over the Tees, and worth a visit.

Thanks Julian, I kinda drifted away from POTN when there seemed to be a massive invasion of HDR landscapes, which made my eyes ache, thankfully, they are not so prevalent now (or perhaps the togs have seen the light ), so I've drifted back a bit.

LOL, As I live right on the coast, about 10min walk, most of my shots are of the North East coast. The North West landscapes are usually long day trips. Its an area that I love to shoot, but don't get that much time to get over there, hence the scouting missions as I'l going to try and get there more often.

We should meet up at some point.

I've been meaning to get down to Paddys Hole and Saltburn pier for a while now, its on my list! :-)
