Hi All,

Just test all 3 L @ their 24mm with 5D2, ISO 100, MF with Live view.
RAW convert to jpg without any adjustment, all value set to zero.

interesting...the corner sharpness is pretty bad on the 17-40...

Seems about right to me f/4 lenses wide open won't perform like the 1.4 lens stopped down. The 24L image does look like the exposure is slightly brighter though.

Also, it's 17-40L! I'll ask the Mod to change the title soon.

Hehe! The sharpness from corner to corner will blow those lenses away at 24mm. My 24 L MK 1.4 Mk II is good but, it's not perfect. The 24 TS-E MK II is a 10 out of 10 imho.

BTW, forgot to bring my 17-40L hood, so I used the 24L's one. Looking good to me.
