Noticed them today. They look to be in one of the middle elements. 2 of them. Wat do?

Not a stranger to opening up a lens btw.

Two isn't very many... You might want to send the lens in and ask them to add more.

Seriously, these lenses aren't assembled in a clean room. Nearly all have a few specks of dust inside. It does no harm and isn't worth worrying about.

If they are larger specks, they might cause some image quality loss... Usually increasing flare. However larger objects in a lens are often fungus or something more serious than dust.

It's definitely sand particles. If it affects IQ I'll send them in with my 70-200 f4l IS, I'm just flat broke now and have absolutely zero cash to pay to get anything fixed. 10 months still unemployed
