All three shots are excellent. NY has one of the best skylines on the planet. I have a few from Toronto, my hometown, another one of the world's great skylines. I'll post them up soon. Great thread!

Well, we do have a Cityscape thread here that's been active for the past year:

So there will be a lot of overlap with posts here, but what the heck, there's always room for cool shots!

I grew up in Southern California, 20 miles from downtown Los Angeles, and a number of years ago I was visiting my parents in the old family home and was able to grab this shot from the old neighborhood using my '03 4MP digicam:

Seattle, WA was home to me for a number of years, and I spent plenty of time going from Seattle to the Olympic peninsula via the state ferry and so when visiting a few years ago I came prepared by bringing my 30D and a long lens:

Finally, my current home is across the Columbia River from Oregon and Portland, OR. The Portland Waterfront, along the Willamette River, is home to things like the Portland 4th of July Blues Festival and fireworks, and parking across the river can give some nice skyline shots:
