Hello,

A newby as of now, Just stumbled across this forum. first of all, so much beautifull photo's in this forum.

I live in the Netherlands, started taking picture with my first own camera, a Minolta SPXI, back in 1992. for me the first one with autofocus (and maybe even for Minolta, but not sure).

After a cuople of years, forgot about this camera until my sister asked if she could take it on their wedding trip.

Then I missed the camera and bought a secondhand Minolta XD-7, which is a manual operated camera. many years of nice use (still miss that kind of camera, but of course autofocus is nice).

Because of Minolta and the bunch of lenses, I bought a Sony A200, to enter the digital world. mad nice pictures with it, but hungered for an A700. that wqas A nice camera, only the high ISO wasn't so good.

Thus surching for another one. Becaus of other I came to Canon and bought a 40D, 50D and now a 550D, with grip (I know, not semi professional, but stil very good pictures and video, which the 50D hadn't)

so now a little "skyline" picture from me (taken with a Canon SX200IS, hany to have around) when on holiday in Taipei, Taiwan.

Not a real skyline, but late at night around 11:30pm, it was just like the Taipei 101 was a computer animation..
