This story is about one backpacker and his journey into Southeast Asia and the exploration and experiences of culture, food, people, religion, natural wonders, human wonders, and life. I present my story through photos. Enjoy and Thanks!

Had great conversation with him about his stories and life out in the village and at the aage of 87 years old.

Giving the opportunity to observe and photography this ceremony and ritual is amazing as photographer and as outsider to see this as it happen.

It was fruits season! So you has your Durian, Rambutan, Mangosteen, Longan, Thieu Litchi, Papays, Persimmon, Custard Apple, Jackfruit, and Green dragon.

In Buddhism,the lotus represents the true nature of beings, who rise through samsara into the beauty and clarity of enlightenment.

Thanks!! Sorry about that....but captions are up and I post more later. I was gone for little over 4 weeks, wish I could had gone longer but I had to come back the States.

I have a classmate (who also happens to be my only photog friend in my grad program) who is from there, from these pics and her stories when I'm done with school this is on my top 3 trips to take.

I just got back from a month month trip all over SE Asia. Best thing I ever did. Thanks for the memories.

Your very welcome! It was different lifestyle out there and amazing. Seeing these people living on less then $1 USD a life or less and are happy with life! Is amazing.
