Tips and tricks for beating the heat

So tomorrow I'm shooting a wedding that looks to be all outside. This is great except that it is supposed to be a humid 85-90 degrees tomorrow; not so great. So do any of you seasoned vets have any handy tips (other than staying hydrated) for dealing with heat like this for a full day? Thanks.

Jump into an air conditioned vehicle occasionally

The best I can say is learn to deal with it. Make sure you wear sunscreen. I use long sleeve shirts almost every wedding and it gets hot.

The week I photographed a race that started in Death Valley. At 5:30am, it was 95 degrees, and got up to almost 120. Drink a LOT!

Yup, make sure you get lots of fluids in you!

One thing I know for sure is that I don't plan on wearing my normal black/dark colored long sleeve dress shirts that I like to. I like the idea of sunscreen (for my head mostly; no hair up there! LOL!).

I would love to see temps down in the 85 to 90s . Keep your camera shaded or it will get way too hot to handle or operate. moving a hot camera into AC could cause condensation, you really want to avoid this as it's a great way to incubate some fungus amongus.

85-90 degrees is hot? I'm jealous! The other week I had a wedding on a day that was 102 and humid. MISERABLE! But survivable. Drink lots and lots and lots of water. Make sure the bride drinks lots of water (they'll think you're awesome for being so worried about her). Sit in a car as much as possible and crank the AC up. Pretty much stay hydrated and cool off whenever you can. A nice cotton button down shirt and linen pants would look nice and keep you cool, too.

I know 85-90 doesn't seem too bad, but we've had such a cold/damp spring, that this feels like a sauna to us right now.

bring blotting tissue for the bride and groom, or powder. you'll thank yourself when post processing the pics...
