I had the opportunity to fly to Michigan this past week to photograph a truly unique family at their family reuinion. In this first picture, the woman in blue going in to tickle the baby's feet is that baby's great-great grandmother. The woman holding her is her mother, the woman next to her is her Grandmother, and the woman next to her is her Great-Grandmother.

2) Can you just imagine someday being able to hold your great-great grandchild??

4) Later that day a large chunk of the family took a trip to the beach.

5) Silhouette shots are my new obsession.

That's fantastic! I love the last shot, great silhouette. The sky looks wonderful. How amazing that would be to be able to do that.

That is awesome! Well done!

My daughter is expecting her first baby any day now and I'm planning on doing a five generation shot at my mother in laws home.

Great capture. I was able to get a 5 generation picture for my wifes family a few years ago and they are glad to have it since her grand-father has since passed away. I hope they enjoy their treasure....

It's posts like these that remind me of the value photogs bring to people's lives. They'll no doubt treasure these photos long after the oldest have passed.

Yes! Great-great Grandma is in her 90s and her memory is going, but her health is good. And Great-Grandma hardly looks old enough to be a grandma let alone a great-grandma!
