Now I have to decide if I keep it or return it and wait for the "soft silver"... 6D | 40mm f/2.8 | 50mm f/1.4 | 70-200mm f/4L IS | 580EXII | 2x PCB Einstein | Various Modifiers

Apple. He's a very funny man. God bless him for knowing how to do everything better than anyone else. Where would we be without Paul? Sorry Elinchrom users.. lolol I picked up on that as well, Rob. Paul never just promotes his products on their own merits. It always has to be at the expense of one competitor or another. Standard operating procedure for Luap.

Unfortunately, Martin is probably correct: Figure on their being six weeks away.

Soft Silver sounds ideal. Unfortunately, Martin is probably correct: Figure on their being six weeks away. Dave F. I don't know if I see too much use for the 64" white if I had the 64" 'soft silver' with the exception of the "japanese lantern" configuration. I happened to order the front spill-kill cover instead of the outer black cover (and subsequently ordered that as well), so I would have that as an option if I wanted to use it. Anyone found a good use for a PLM in that configurtion? I was thinking maybe lighting up a big group with one light, but other than that... I dunno. Maybe I'll get both, have the white when I want super-soft light in my studio, and get a "soft silver" with the umbrella configuration for when I need quick setup on location/outdoors. 6D | 40mm f/2.8 | 50mm f/1.4 | 70-200mm f/4L IS | 580EXII | 2x PCB Einstein | Various Modifiers
