This is my sigma 50 1.4 . This lens is soft from 1.4-1.8 and starts to get sharp @ 2.0
Shot @1.4
Shot @ 2.2
This was shot with my Sigma 85 1.4 (I got lucky)
Shot @ 1.4
Overall do I need to return my sigma 50 1.4 or what? Thanks in advance.

I tried the MA but ran out of adjustment so I sent it to CRIS. I had the lens in my hand again in less than a week after they got it. If you like the lens get it calibrated. 5DMarkII|24-105 F4L|70-200 2.8L IS II|580EXII|

I tried to macro adjust it and its starting to do kinda sharp @ +18 | 5D mark III | 5D mark II gripped | Canon 100L |Canon 24-105L | Canon 70-200L 2.8L IS II | Sigma 35 1.4 | Sigma 50 1.4 | Sigma 85 1.4 | 580ex II | 430ex II x 2 |

You right, it was front focusing I had to go +18 I think. I'm guessing thats to much to keep this lens. I want to send it in, but I'm about to ship my camera to canon next week. fotuwe wrote in post #12767205 Try both lenses on subjects with different distance.
