Just wondering if someone can help me identify a soft box I just saw on a TV program. The photographer had a soft box, looked like maybe 6"x6" defuser attached to a 430EX

Yep that looks like it, his looked a little more.....higher quality. I'd imagine that would work fine. He was shooting run way models

I rather get a gary fong lightsphere. IMO, those flash mounted softbox is too small to begin with, unless it is this one:

You'd be surprised. I have a cheap eBay rip-off (iShoot 23cm) of the Lastolite 8.6" Ezybox (aka "Ezybox Hotshoe"), and it gives surprisingly good light, probably from the double-baffle. I was curious to see how it would look, given what Neil van Niekerk was showing he was getting with one (external link).
