ni$mo350 Cream of the Crop 6,011 posts Likes: 14 Joined Apr 2009 Location: Portland, OR More info | Jul 17, 2011 17:30 | #4 I use LR3 by lowering the purple saturation slider but in photoshop you can go to filter>lens correction or shift+ctrl+r and right next to the auto correction tab you'll see the custom tab. click on that and it'll give you sliders to work with to clean up red/green/blue fringe. Jul 17, 2011 17:36 | #5 I did the Photoshop one but its not working. I saw a tutorial on you tube and it says if you crop the image already the CA correction wont work. Darn, I already edited and saved!

I know it's hard to correct some of them and a lot of times you can't just fix it with a slider in Camera RAW or LR or whatever it is we use. Keep it up, looks good. The 2nd shows the EXIF at f/3.2 on the fifty where the CA isn't nearly as bad as it is wide open. It doesn't say the EXIF on the first shot though so I'm assuming that was shot wider am I correct? -Chris-Website

Jul 18, 2011 13:22 | #9 Thanks. The first shot was at f/3.2 also...I just got a lot closer. Yeah, I had to use the clone brush to get rid of some of the CA. Pretty happy with the way they came out for a 5 min portrait snap shot.
