This challenge will be about The Law. It is open to interpretation, but please don't do something, or have someone else do something, illegal just to get arrested and get pictures of it. If you do, don't call me to bail you out.

Standard Rules apply:
Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Canon DSLR Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - Please visit Image Posting Rules. Here
4. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.
6. Camera info - Post as a minimum camera used, focus length, ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have FUN!

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends - 2:00 a.m. Central Time Monday July 25th, 2011. (Yes, I sleep all day.)
*Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.
Previous winners: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=299375

I've always been a photographer, but I haven't always had a camera.

Here's some of my thoughts on the pictures. If you don't care what my thoughts are on the individual photos and just want the winner, too bad. I'm going to veer away mostly from technical aspects. I think everyone that posted has enough experience to know the right and wrong ways, and/or have read enough in this forum to know, so if it's here, it's here for a reason.

Flo-- Nicely depicting the ugly side of the law. Now we know the real truth of why bike racers shave their legs.
surgeonhawkeye-- the not-so-glamorous side, the paperwork afterwards. looks like they left him to do it alone, and he really wants to get it over with.
ajaxthe2nd-- shows the motion really well. It feels urgent.
Maureen-- In your face, i'm coming for you, feel. Dynamic and a bit intimidating. My pick as the winner for the week.
PINNACLE-- I smile every time i look at it
Jason C -- He looks like he is waiting for, and guarding against, something bigger to come along. The circle continues.
aponi06-- I have a personal taste aversion to general car show shots in general, and that's how this one feels.
John_B-- nice interpretation, and stunning presentation. Think I'm going to Denny's after I post this.
philk54 -- OH NO!!

Thanks for the submissions everyone, looking forward to the next week.

Way to go Maureen. This was a fun challenge. My first thought was the law of gravity, but John_B beat me to it. Nice shots, everyone.
