anyone have anything to say about this bag? good bad or indifferent? or possibly any other recommendations for a bag that is similar (price and size)?

That looks like the bag that a friend of mine has. I borrowed his camera and the bag for a couple of weeks before I got mine. I found the bag ok but nothing special. I think there are better ones for similar prices but it depends on your needs. If it is the same one as I borrowed, it has a padded waist belt that be stored behind a flap, which i found useful and is more comfortable to carry the load like that in combination with the shoulder strap. The interior only had two dividers, though. I found it to be quite bulky for the storage it offered.

I have a Domke F-2 and it fits my 50D, 28-135, 50 1.8, Tamron 90mm macro, and Tamron 70-300 with all my accessories very nicely.
