Because I had some positive reactions on my 'posing pencils' I post two other pics made with the G2 in combination with a B+W close-up lens.

Your close-up shots are very very good.
Looks like you are really enjoying doing close-up work.
There are lots of interesting subjects waiting for you.
Flowers or just parts of flowers make good subjects. So do coins or detail of paper money.
Subjects are everywhere around us.
Hoping to see more of your work soon. You really have talent.

[A little point on terminology. A "Filter" is something that BLOCKS something from passing through it.
eg A filter can block and remove sand from water.
In Photography a Yellow Filter will filter out and block Blue light.

The close-up attachement on the front of your lens is not filtering anything. It is really a good quality magnifying LENS, called a CLOSE-UP LENS, not a filter.
They are measured in Dioptres. Usually one uses a Plus 1 or +2 or +3 etc.]

Hi Eland,

Thanks for your reaction! Close-up photography is really fun and interesting. Sometimes you are suprised about the results. Soon I will place more of it.

About the terminology. Your right, of course a filter does only one thing: filtering. But because some websites put the lenses under the category 'filters' I used the same terminology. But you are right.

Groeten,

Jan

For viewmont: It's already gone. (not me, but my father, I don't like beer)
