hi,

if shooting in a venue like the below place, how would you use the on camera 580ex ii? the ceilings are quite high, so not sure bounceing will be effective or would it? use direct flash? the venue will be darker than the photos as the event will be at night also. probably a mix of candids and small grp shots.

ceiling in the frst pic is lower so bouncing off ceiling would wrk here i thnk.
