FD 50mm 1.4 lens???

Hello,
Can I use the old manual focus FD 50mm 1.4 lens on my new canon 7D? I have access to some old canon lenses, which are for an old film camera. I'm just not sure if it would damage anything on my 7D???

Need a FD - > EOS adapter

Buy some film, buy FD mount camera (I use my original Canon F-1 which I bought used in the mid-70s) and enjoy a different way to experience this hobby . . . I took many memorable pictures with that F-1 and that same lens.

I don´t like adapters for FD lenses - no longer infinity, or with stinking cheap tele extender lens inside.

I converted a Canon FD 50/1.4 and 1.8 to a Tilt lens on crop cameras. And a FD 28/2.8 as an better freelensing lens.

But one can convert FD lenses to EF mount too - but its some work. and not every lens will work on FF.
