It is such a good general walk-about lens and for me it produces very sharp results. I use it for landscapes and I am always surprised at just how good it is. I've read IS would help video on the 5d2. But as I pointed out in my other thread, the IS start and stop noise is pretty obvious, it was loud enough for me to post and ask questions on it!
